We are Terry and Chris, along with our dog Boris we have recently taken over at The Blue Bell Inn. Having moved to Weardale in 2017, like many who come here to live or visit we fell in love with the area and The Blue Bell Inn.

It is our aim to invest in the pub and the local community to offer the best service we can and to ensure the pub remains a relaxed and welcoming place to come for locals and visitors alike.

The Blue Bell Inn is a proper pub that serves an excellent cask ale, which changes often between various local breweries and some from further afield. Check our social media to see what's on now and coming up. We also serve a selection of draught beverages, bottles, wines and spirts, including gins and whiskeys. We are of course dog friendly.
